Mandatory security software updates

In accordance with Article 20(4) of Regulation (EU) No 165/2014, type-approval authorities inform the Commission, when measures must be taken to address security vulnerabilities in vehicle units, motion sensors or tachograph cards. The following table identifies vulnerable recording equipment in which software must be updated, in application of these measures. For each model, it provides details about the vulnerable software versions to be replaced, the new software version to be installed, the start date and the deadline.
